Our Story
It all started 21 years ago...
Who'd have thought that a visit in 2005, to a new pizza restaurant in Edinburgh to give advice on marketing, would lead to the setting up of a Pay it Forward pizza venture - in aid of community climate change.
But that's what's happening. Thanks to some amazing colleagues and support organisations.

"After spending a few hours with a fantastic young lady who was in charge of their marketing, I decided it was time for me to leave. She was brilliant. There was nothing I felt I could teach her.
I told her that she was doing everything right. That if it stopped working I'd be able to help however. As I was leaving the premises I casually asked her what the turnover of the outlet was. I was astounded by the figure she fed back, and more astounded by the profit on that turnover.
Since that day it's always been in my head that if there was ever a cause that needed funding, that I would do it by selling pizza.
Looking at the funding landscape across Scotland just now is like having an audience seat at the biggest bun fight. Lots of great people, having to fight tooth and nail for scraps. Lots of people with uncertain futures or annual contracts.
We want to end that. Our first goal is to make £1Million profit that we can plough directly in to community climate action and take away some of that core funding strain.
The idea is that the biggest percentage of profit from each outlet goes back into the local community, a bit goes in to supporting SCCAN, a bit goes into a national pot of funding that any organisation can apply for. We want a speedy funding application process that allows organisations to apply for core funding first and foremost.
